Guide

Step 1

Switch off your iPhone

Remove the 2 screws as shown in the image

• 2 x 3.4 mm screws

Step 2

Apply heat to the lower edge of the iPhone using a hairdryer to soften the adhesive securing the display assembly.

Do it for about a few minutes.

Step 3

If your display screen is badly cracked, you can prevent further breakage of the screen by taping it over with a clear tape.

Place the suction cup on the screen of your iPhone, just slightly above the home button.

Make sure that the suction cup is pressed securely to ensure a tight seal.

Step 4

Using an opening tool, pull the suction cup while holding the phone down to slightly separate the front panel to create an opening.

Once you get an opening, continue to pry the rear case down and away from the display assembly while pulling up with the suction cup.

If you are still having trouble, heat up the lower edge of the phone again until it is too hot to touch.

Step 5

Use the opening tool to create an opening between the screen and rear case, and twist it to widen the gap.

Do it for the left side of the phone, between the display assembly and rear case and slide it up to separate the adhesive and pop the clips free.

Now slide it to the right side of the phone to separate the adhesive and pop open the display clips.
